These two cards are one-of-a kind!
One card is in tones of an Aqua-Green and the other in shades of Peachy-pink.
The card of Aqua-Green is really sparkly, with flashes of pink and yellow visible in the petals and darker green stems.
The Peachy-pink card has fine flashes of sparkles visible when it moves and some orange visible in the petals. It has lovely a cornflower blue middle and stem. Both have been painted on high quality "rough surface" paper.
Both are very sweet and have been created using what I call a “freehand” technique. I let the paint and water decide what happens by literally going with the flow! Once the first drops of paint have started to move, I get a little brave and add some brighter or bolder colours and soon we see the flower or pattern start to bloom.
Painting in this manner has truly been a lesson in letting go of control, one which I think, I will be forever learning. I really love it and hope you do to! Each finished product is a real surprise to me as I only started painted a few years’ ago.
I use a wide range of paints and various tools - depending on what I am painting; including regular and water brushes, palette knives and gel pens. Recently I have inherited my Mum's paint brushes and tools and am excited to start using these also!
I only use quality paper of 300gsm and above of various textures. Prices for my products may depend on the paints and papers used at the time.
