Certified organic cotton tea towel featuring my original illustration of an Australian magpie looking at a butterfly.
The magpie is wide spread across Australia and I was inspired to draw one after watching the funny antics of a family of magpies that would visit my garden daily. Watching them hunt for insects in my garden, I decided to draw a magpie with a pretty butterfly. I based my butterfly illustration on a birdwing butterfly.
As I normally draw birds, I was attracted to the "birdwing" butterfly for it's name but then also by it's beauty. It is a large butterfly native to north eastern Australia.
My original drawing was done in coloured pencil and has been digitally printed on to a certified organic cotton tea towel.
The tea towel is 50 x 65cm in size with a loop on one corner which can be used for hanging.
A pretty way to decorate your kitchen or may even be used as a wall hanging if you don't wish to use it!
Washing instructions:
Cold machine or hand wash.
Do not tumble dry.
No not bleach.
Do not dry clean.
