An original artwork created with fine, hand torn paper. On a 20cm x 20cm painted
stretched canvas. Comes with a hook on the back for immediate display. I protect the surface of my finished artwork with a satin varnish which also highlights the colours. These original canvases make a delightful gift or a treat for yourself.
My technique of "painting with paper" begins with a design sketch, followed by carefully hand tearing all the individual design pieces from my collection of hand painted papers. These paper pieces are then glued to a painted canvas background. No two artworks are the same, due to the differences in hand torn paper and the variations in the colours of my paper selection. So each original canvas is quite unique.
Posted canvases are protected by firm cardboard and bubble-wrap.
