Storybook Handbag

Storybook fully lined handmade Handbag/shoulder-bag.
This handbag is made from a heavy cotton fabric, printed with the most adorable olde-worlde/vintage inspired storybook covers.  I have enhanced it further by hand stitching little beads and vintage jewellery pieces randomly onto the various storybook pictures.
I have fully lined this bag with some fabulous vintage gold-coloured satin-like fabric and have added an interior pocket - made from the storybook cotton fabric. 
The closure is a simple button and buttonhole, which gives it that authentic vintage(y) feel.
The back of the bag is not beaded, as I felt it would catch onto whatever you are wearing.
The shoulder strap is repurposed from a pre-loved handbag.
