These beautiful Byzantine bracelets are handcrafted from solid sterling silver using the intricate Byzantine chainmaille weave. Every link is individually formed, assembled and hand-soldered by me, creating a strong, beautifully articulated bracelet with the distinctive depth and texture of this classic weave.

The bracelets are available in three wire sizes, allowing you to choose the look and weight that best suits you — from a finer, more delicate bracelet to a substantial, statement piece. Each version is made with the same care, precision and attention to detail; the difference is simply in the scale and weight of the finished bracelet.

Choose your bracelet:

Fine — 1.0 mm wire

A delicate and refined version of the Byzantine weave. This is the lightest option, with a finer appearance while still retaining the intricate character of the design. Because the smaller links require particularly careful handling and assembly, this is actually the most time-intensive version to make.

Medium — 1.29 mm wire

A beautiful balance between delicacy and substance. The weave has a little more presence and weight than the fine version while remaining elegant and comfortable for everyday wear.

Heavy — 1.6 mm wire

A substantial, bold interpretation of the Byzantine weave. The larger wire gives the bracelet noticeably more weight and presence, creating a strong statement piece with a beautifully solid feel.

Each bracelet is made to order and finished by hand, including the sterling silver clasp. The clasp is proportioned to suit the size of the bracelet, so the finer bracelet has a more delicate clasp while the heavier versions have progressively larger, stronger clasps to complement their weight and scale.

Care:

Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time. To keep your bracelet bright and polished, store it in a dry place when not being worn and gently polish it with a silver polishing cloth as needed. Avoid exposing the bracelet unnecessarily to perfumes, chemicals, chlorine and household cleaning products.
