Winter market place inspired advent calendar to be enjoyed by all the family. The calendar has pockets that may be used to hold small gifts, lollies or inspirational thoughts for every day of advent. This is a reusable keepsake that may be used to create a Christmas holiday tradition for the family. We always had advent calendars when I was a child and they helped to build the excitement for the upcoming Christmas holiday. Being able to customise the gifts makes the calendar more personal.

The advent calendar may be pinned to the wall or placed on a hanger. I like to hang my calendar on a twig using loops made from thread and then suspend it from a picture hook. The twigs can be garnished with decorative materials, or left plain for a rustic look.

The advent calendar has been made from a pre-printed panel and has been both hand and machine quilted to make each item unique. The calendar is made from cotton fabric and cotton and bamboo batting. The item may be either hand washed or machine washed in cold water on a hand/delicates wash, if necessary. If needed, the calendar my be pressed using an iron on a cotton setting.

The advent calendar is 50cm (W) x 67cm (H).

I live in a house with a cat, so all my quilted items will be washed before being sent out, so please allow for a day before your item is posted to you.
