Description
This great little box is handcrafted from premium Tasmanian Myrtle.
The body of the box is routed from a solid piece of the highest grade timber and the finely shaped lid is attached with quality concealed brass hinges. The lid tapers from the centre to the box line and provides a lift point to open the box and the interior of each box is attentively hand sanded. The exterior surfaces are linished in a graded process to create a nice, smooth finish that is protected with multiple coats of premium clear lacquer, retaining the beauty of the natural colour of the timber. The interior bottom of the box is lined with black wool felt, sourced from an Australian manufacturer, located in Melbourne. Handy to keep on a desk or dresser and great for storing business cards, flash drives, small keepsakes or jewellery pieces, etc.
Overall box dimensions- Length- 121 mm; Width- 83 mm; Height- 35 mm, including lid thickness of 10mm.
Internal available space- Length- 92 mm; Width- 68 mm; Height- 20 mm
We have included a standard size business card in some of the pictures, to help provide a sense of scale.
All of our designs come in a recycled cardboard box that is wrapped in kraft paper and tied with raffia ribbon.
The box pictured is the one you would receive. Please allow for small variations in sizing as the quoted measurements are what we work to. Minor differences can occur as each box is unique and hand finished to bring out the best in the timber.
