handmade tall clay tealight holder. Made in a paperclay, this gorgeous sleepy mermaid stands 26cm tall. It was made, sculpted, scales added one by one then painted. It was then painted again with the colour being wiped back to highlight the detail. Then fired once more. The sea at the bottom has been gloss glazed as have its lips. The rest is left as a matt finish.
