These dainty and elegant earrings are made from real flowers, pressed and preserved in resin by me. The flowers are from the very romantic cottage plant, Queen Anne's Lace. Normally Queen Anne's Lace flowers are white, but I have hand dyed these to accentuate their laciness.
The heart-shaped earrings are very thin and extremely light to wear. They hang 5cm from the earhole and are 1.5cm wide. The elegant, curved hooks are nickel-free, so perfect for those with sensitive ears.
Did you know that the delicate, lacelike flowers of Queen Anne's Lace resemble the shape of an umbrella or a bird's nest? This is likely why it is seen as a symbol of sanctuary and protection.
