Description
This is a generous crescent shawl hand crocheted by me near Bellingen on the mid north coast of NSW. It took about 50 hours to create.
It is made in 100% Australian hand dyed silk bought at the Rocks Sydney and is a varigation of black, browns and dark grey.
It is 80cm at the neck, 240 cm at the bottom of the crescent and a lovely 63 cm deep. The design of the shawl showcases the beautiful natural colours of the silk to best advantage. The lovely border provides an extra special effect to an outfit.
This can be worn in so many ways and is definitely a statement piece!
