Large handmade, hand painted bowl

one of a kind made with quality clay and glazes to produce this beautiful underwater scene.

My pottery is produce on the NSW south coast . Made with love and whimsy . The process involves many steps from preparing the clay , throwing the piece on the wheel or hand building . Semi drying and trimming the shape . Bisque fired then hand painting with glazes , a second firing to bake the painting. Then a final glaze fire to make the piece functional Add the last layer of glaze which brings out all the great colours .
