Description
This scarf is handwoven and hand-dyed in a little backyard studio in Brisbane, Australia.
It's woven using mulberry silk and a fine, slub tussah silk. This piece measures 43cm in width and approximately 132cm in length as well as a short raw fringe at either end.
Woven in plain weave, the scarf uses off-white silk as the main colour, with a bold block of deep charcoal off-centre through the length of the piece. It is soft and light in hand with a gorgeous silken smell.
Featuring a large colour block stripe in either deep charcoal or a wonderful Turkish Rose.
Care Instructions
Every piece from my studio is given its first wash as part of the finishing process. To keep your piece looking wonderful I recommend a gentle hand wash and dry in the shade, however, a gentle silk setting on your machine can be used if you trust your washing machine! For raw fringe, I recommend a gentle iron after washing.
