Lamps are really one of the easiest ways to create different moods in your house. One of the reasons I started focusing on lighting is because I struggled to find unique natural lamps that celebrated the colours and textures of the Australian landscape.
This lamp has been created with ambience in mind for any living or desk space. Having something handmade out of natural materials to bring a soft glow, as you plod away on the computer, can make an ordinary space extraordinary!
This 100% locally sourced reclaimed solid Australian Gum piece has been sympathetically finished to allow the character to shine through. The aged green timber has been finished with a soft wax finish. Both ends show the timber grain showing through. The reclaimed copper stem has been allowed to continue to patina however if you wanted to make this have a ‘bright copper look’ you could certainly finish with some brass o.
It is truly bespoke and a one off for your stunning home decor.
The ceramic shade has been carefully created with this piece in mind and is handmade in a style to suit. The ceramic shade goes through a process of being twice fired and glazed by hand. The outside is an ethereal green with the inside having been glazed clear.
The light has been tested and certified by a qualified electrician.
