The Rose of Sharon quilt, a popular American appliqué pattern, originated in the mid-19th century and often symbolised romantic love and marriage, commonly featured in hope chests. Characterised by a stylised central rose with radiating stems, buds, and leaves, it saw a significant revival in the 1920s and 30s. This beautiful quilt is my take on the design. Measuring approximately 220cm square (87") featuring intricate quilting, this quilt will feature comfortably on your queen size bed. Rose of Sharon has been created using the finest 100% cotton designer fabrics; cotton batting and backing. To care for your quilt cold wash only, line dry.
