Each piece of copper jewellery created by Electrofawn is given an anti-tarnish rinse and sealed with a thermoplastic lacquer- to help maintain its lustre for a long time. With continued wear, though, this protective layer will eventually wear off, and you may, or may not notice the colours of the ring changing, or some marks on your finger. To hep avoid this as long as possible, we recommend that you remove jewellery before swimming, bathing, applying lotions, or using hand sanitiser. Copper is a living metal, and the development of this patina over time can be a very beautiful thing! However, if you are not fond of it, use the provided polishing cloth to gently buff your piece, ad apply a thing layer of clear nail polish to the inside of the ring band. With proper care, you should not have to worry about this for a long time.
