Aussie Tallow Raw Jersey Milk & Tallow Soap Bars are handcrafted in small batches on our family farm in Mount Barker, Western Australia.
Every batch begins with fresh raw milk from our own grass-fed Jersey cows, combined with grass-fed & finished beef tallow that we render ourselves from nutrient-rich beef suet sourced from our own cattle and other locally raised cattle when required.
From milking our Jersey cows to rendering our tallow and handcrafting every soap bar, the entire process happens right here on our farm.
Combined with organic olive oil and organic castor oil, our milk and tallow soap creates a beautifully rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses while leaving the skin feeling soft, nourished and refreshed.

WHY RAW JERSEY COW MILK?
Our Jersey cows aren't simply part of our branding — their fresh milk is an actual ingredient in our soap. We milk our cows here on the farm and use their raw Jersey milk when handcrafting our soap bars.
Jersey milk is naturally rich and creamy, making it beautifully suited to traditional soap making. It helps create a luxurious, creamy lather and leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and conditioned after washing.
WHY GRASS-FED & FINISHED BEEF TALLOW?
Tallow has been used in traditional soap making for generations because it produces a beautifully firm, creamy and long-lasting bar.
We render our tallow ourselves from beef suet using a careful, slow process before incorporating it into our soaps.
The combination of tallow and raw Jersey milk creates the rich, traditional soap base that makes these bars so distinctive.
NATURALLY COLOURED WITH AUSTRALIAN CLAYS
Depending on the variety selected, our soaps may contain one of Australia's beautiful natural cosmetic clays.
Australian Yellow Clay – provides gentle exfoliation and helps leave the skin feeling clean and refreshed.
Australian Pink Clay – a gentle clay particularly well suited to normal and sensitive skin.
Australian Olive Green Clay – helps absorb excess oils while gently cleansing and exfoliating the skin.
Our Unscented variety contains no essential oils or clay, making it our simplest option.

ABOUT LYE & TRADITIONAL SOAP MAKING
Lye is used during the traditional soap-making process. During saponification, the oils and fats react with the lye to form soap.
The finished, properly formulated and cured soap does not contain free lye.

Aussie Tallow isn't simply a skincare brand using farm-inspired imagery. We are a genuine working farm and make these soaps ourselves.
Our Jersey cows provide the fresh raw milk. We render our own tallow in-house. The ingredients are then brought together and every soap bar is handcrafted by us in small batches on our farm in Mount Barker, Western Australia.
Because our bars are genuinely handmade, natural variations in colour, shape and appearance can occur between batches. That's part of the character of traditionally handcrafted soap.
