I grew up by the Canning River, playing on it's banks and watching the endless birds. Few places bring me as much joy as this river. It's characterised by rich brown water, a colour lent to it by the tanins of the gum trees that grow along it. This was painted using a limited palatte, with some extra blue added!

Give this piece of my favourite river a comfortable home.

This is painted on 12.7cm x 17.7cm Museum Series Ampersand Gessobord in Acrylics, which means it on a solid board that will stand the test of time.
