This hand-forged / oxidised (aka "patina") copper cuff is inspired by Aussie Coastal Life! 🌊

Featuring limited edition / fire-polished Czech glass beads on premium EU leather cord,
as well as artfully-oxidised / triple-varnished brass Turtle charm 🐢.
This wearable piece of art was created to encapsulate the essence of Australian Coast! 🌊
Hand-forged and handmade in Torquay, each piece is a journey of its own kind - just waiting to be discovered!..
Triple-coated in special varnish on both sides, the carefully- and artistically-applied patina (oxidisation) on this copper piece is securely sealed onto the cuff, promising to remain where it belongs - outside of your wrist, not on top of your skin!
This protective layer not only enhances both the colour and durability - but also ensures that this masterpiece can be worn every day!
The cuff is slightly flexible, allowing for more adjustable fit.

FURTHER PRODUCT INFO:
The cuff is made from a hand-cut, hand-forged, hand-polished & hand-sanded copper sheet.
The copper sheet is 0.5mm thick.

The cuff is slightly flexible, allowing for more adjustable fit.
The patina on this is cuff bracelet is caused by an artificial oxidisation of the metal, which I apply in controlled environment of my workshop in Torquay.
It takes a minimum of 2 patina applications to achieve the desired colour; and each time, the oxidisation process takes anything between 12-24 hours.
Once the desired colour is achieved, I neutralise the metal. After finishing / buffing the cuff, I carefully varnish the cuffs in 3 layers of highly-durable sealant, which not only protects the patina - but also makes this cuff hypoallergenic.
Each layer of this sealant can take up to 8-12 hours to cure.

SIZING INFO / HELP:
The average wrist size for women is 14cm- 17cm. For men, the average wrist size is 18cm - 20cm.
Cuff sizing help:
For sizing, first, determine your wrist size:
Use a flexible measuring tape measure and wrap it snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
Mark where the measuring tape overlaps on your wrist.
Next, determine the fit you would like:
Consider how snug or loose fitting you want your cuff bracelet. Most cuff bracelets - especially the wider ones - are intended to be worn relatively snug around your wrist, with a 2.5cm opening to put your hand through (as a pictured on the listing).
If you prefer to wear your cuff more loosely, like a bangle - order up to one or two sizes from your recommended size.
If you have a favourite cuff, you can also measure its circumference and email it through to us before ordering, so we can calculate the appropriate size of cuff for you, which would fit the same.
