I think of the paintings in this body of work as semi abstract, almost dreamlike where things feel familiar but nothing makes sense. There is recognisable imagery, mostly in the form of rabbits , various animals and figures, but they warp, melt and dissolve into abstract worlds they inhabit. Inspired by these creatures, i seek to use colour and form to make paintings that reveal themselves slowly and reward the viewer with new discoveries the longer they look
