NEEDLEBOOK KIT TWO

Needlebook or Textile Collage Kit

This carefully curated needlebook kit has been pulled together after months of searching in secondhand stores, online, in upcycle centres and of course, pulling from my own personal collection to bring you a starter kit to create your own vintage needlebook or textile collage. 

This kit includes almost everything you need to create your very own needlebook including; 

1. A piece of vintage/retro rayon in purples & blues on a black background.
2. A piece of iron-on wadding, already attached to your main cover piece tray for you to commence you kantha stitch. 
3. Half a vintage/retro napkin to use as a pocket or page.
4. A vintage/retro applique sandwich tray cloth.
5. A vintage handkerchief.
6. A piece of hand-dyed vintage wool blanketing in black
7. A piece of crochet lace,  hand-dyed in blue.
8. A hand crocheted black medallion that has been repaired. 
9. A piece of embroidered vintage linen cut out.
10. 2 x vintage yoyo's
11. A length of lace to use as a needlebook wrap/tie
12. A small amount of perlé 8 cotton to use to kantha stitch the cover - this is a pre-loved reel that has been previously used. 
13. 2 x stranded cottons for embroidered details - one in neon for some pop of colour & one vintage skein. 
14. A hand crocheted white square medallion
15. Additional pieces of fabric for pages, lining, accents or decoration
16. A woven bear tag in coordinating blue.
17. A woven "Hand Made" tag to attach to your creation.
18. A "Made With Love" charm

You will need a hand sewing needle or sewing machine
A pair of scissors or roller cutter, mat & quilting rule. 

You can add more textiles, including some that may be special or significant to you. 

Please be aware that all products included (except for the tags and charm) are vintage quality and can show signs of being previously loved. This may include small stains, marks, wear or repairs. 
I only use items that I would be happy to use myself.
