Myra, Guardian of Gentle Memories, was created to honour those precious moments.
Cradling a tiny handcrafted forget-me-not flower, she quietly reminds us that love, friendship and cherished memories continue to bloom in our hearts long after a moment has passed.
Lovingly needle felted by hand in Tropical North Queensland, Myra is more than a decorative fairy. She is a gentle companion, inviting reflection, comfort and a sense of wonder.
The Story Behind Myra
Myra is part of my Flower Guardian Collection, a gathering of gentle fairy guardians inspired by flowers, nature and the quiet stories they tell.
Each guardian has her own name, personality and purpose.
Inspired by the delicate forget-me-knot flower, Myra watches over treasured memories and the people who leave lasting footprints on our hearts.
Her faceless design is intentional.
Rather than telling you who she is, she leaves space for your own memories, emotions and imagination. One person may see a childhood friend. Another may remember a beloved grandmother. Someone else may simply find comfort in her quiet presence.
My hope is that everyone who welcomes Myra into their home discovers a story that is uniquely their own.
Handmade with Natural Fibres
Myra is carefully sculpted by hand using the traditional art of needle felting.
Soft New Zealand Merino wool, Corriedale wool and Australian wool felt are slowly shaped with thousands of tiny needle strokes, allowing each delicate detail to emerge little by little.
Her soft wool hair, translucent wings, tiny forget-me-not flower and sparkling bead details are all thoughtfully created by hand, making every guardian beautifully unique.
Like all of my creations, Myra begins with natural fibres and grows slowly through patience, imagination and storytelling.

Packaging
Myra begins her journey nestled inside a handmade keepsake gift box that I create myself from corrugated cardboard, lined with soft wool felt and finished with a biodegradable viewing window.
Her gift box is then carefully packed inside a recycled mailing box and protected within a home-compostable mailer, helping her travel safely while keeping packaging as thoughtful as the guardian inside.

No. Myra is a handcrafted decorative art piece created for display and collecting. She is not intended as a toy and is not suitable for young children.
Q: Where can I display her?
Myra loves hanging in cosy spaces where her wings and dress can fall naturally. She looks beautiful in reading nooks, bedrooms, creative studios or anywhere you'd like a gentle reminder to slow down and notice life's little wonders.

Because Myra is made from soft natural wool fibres, she may need a little fluff after her journey. Simply smooth her hair, wings and dress gently with your fingers and she'll soon return to her original shape.

Display Myra indoors away from prolonged direct sunlight and moisture. Handle her gently and avoid brushing the wool. If tiny fuzzy fibres appear over time, they can be carefully trimmed with small embroidery scissors.
