Every knot is handcrafted by me in the seaside village of Nelson Bay on the NSW coast, adding a genuine connection to the coastal inspired design.
The Monkey Fist Knot has its origins way back in the maritime world, it's also known as a sailor's knot where it was tied with a weight in the centre to allow sailors on a boat to pass ropes from ship to shore.
