This tiny platypus is rather shy and likes to hide inside its pocket bed.

The platypus is made from high‑quality 100% wool felt and is hand‑stitched with careful attention to detail.

The pocket bed is made from beautiful hand‑dyed rainbow wool felt. Because each piece of rainbow felt is unique, the colours will vary from pouch to pouch. Other plain wool felt colours are also available for the pocket bed.

This miniature Australian animal measures 6.5 × 3 cm (2 1/2'' × 1 1/8''). The pocket bed measures 7 × 5 cm (2 3/4'' × 2'').

Each platypus softie is made to order, so please allow a day or two for me to make it with great care.

Note about the rainbow felt pouch: The placement of the rainbow colours will vary depending on how the felt is cut. For example, the blues and greens may appear on the front while the pink, purple, or orange shades may fall on the back.
