Lovely Scallop and Cowrie Shell Necklace made from shells collected from my home town. This is quite a unique colour combination of Oranges, blacks and pinks that I have tried to follow the blend of the colours I can see deep within the Scallop shell itself.
To offset the darkness in the Scallop I have woven in some beautiful Australian Black Opal, you probably cant see from my photos but there are hints of deep reds, orange and other colours that reflect in the Opal when it catches light.
I have combined this with an eclectic style combination with the Carnelian and looking deep into this shell you can see hint of colour that matches the Peach Calcite perfectly.
Definitely a must have if you are a one off jewellery collector. Such a standout necklace featuring a 6.5cm wide Scallop.
