The wire shape is formed from 20ga surgical grade stainless steel which is non-tarnishing and hypoallergenic.
Teardrop earring measurement from bend in earring hook is 5.5cms - 6cms and width of teardrop is 2.5cms - 3cms.
Circle hoop is approx 3cms - 3.5cms in diameter with a drop of 4.5cms - 6cms from bend in earring hook.
Embroidery or faux silk cotton is knotted over the wire and interspersed with either coloured 6mm glass crackle beads, 4mm bicone crystals, glass fringe beads, 4mm glass catseye beads, Czech coin beads or 6/0 seed beads depending on the design.
Metal alloy charms are also incorporated into one design for added enhancement of the finished earring!
The teardrop/circle is then attached to a textured silver alloy or stainless steel jump ring which is suspended from a stainless steel lever back, stud or hook-style earlobe attachment!!
