Lost for a While | Fine Art Print
Lost for a while is a celebration of those quiet moments when you disappear into a good book and the rest of the world can wait for a while.
Originally painted by hand in ink and watercolour, this artwork brings together some of my favourite things: books, colour, a comfortable chair and the simple pleasure of being completely absorbed in a story.
Each fine art print is reproduced from my original watercolour artwork and printed in my home studio on beautiful Hahnemühle German Etching fine art paper using archival pigment inks. The softly textured surface of the paper gives the print a lovely tactile quality and retains the character, colour and detail of the original watercolour.

My handmade process
Every Little Portrait of Home artwork begins with an idea inspired by home and the everyday moments and objects that make it special. I develop the composition before drawing the artwork by hand in ink and painting it in watercolour.
Once the original is complete, I carefully digitise and prepare the artwork for printing. Each fine art print is then printed by me in my Sydney home studio on a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 using archival pigment inks and Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
