This piece is a fully resolved design derived from the “Suzy” stool that was patented in the 1970’s and was never commercialised due to a couple of major design issues. I resolved those issues by having custom hinges made for the piece.
This piece has been a finalist in three design competitions, one of those global.
As a set of three this piece offers the versatility of being a useful side table.
Individually, the smaller version makes for a good sized side table next to the lounge. The taller version has been used as a table with the smaller version acting as a seat. The taller version also works well as a minimalist bedside table.
This is a piece that is built to last generations. It is unlikely there will ever be more than 500 of these in existence. Each piece is hallmarked with my brand and each one is individually numbered.
