Larger Routed Australian Timber Box- Tasmanian Myrtle

This is the largest size we make in our Kali routed box design and is crafted with care from some lovely, hand-selected Tasmanian Myrtle. The body of the box is routed from a single, solid piece of timber and the finely shaped lid is attached with high quality concealed brass hinges. The lid lip tapers from the centre to the box line, which provides a lift point to open the box.

The interior of each box is attentively hand sanded before the exterior is linished in a graded process to create a smooth, pleasing to touch, finish. Protected with several coats of air sprayed, premium clear lacquer, the lovely natural colour of the timber is retained. The interior bottom of the box is lined with black wool felt, sourced from an Australian manufacturer.  Great for storing small items in the home office, as a valet for everyday pieces or for keeping jewellery and keepsakes organised.

Internal available space- Length- 170 mm; Width- 85 mm; Height- 27 mm
The box lid is 205 x 112 at widest point of contour, which provides the lift point.

All of our designs come boxed in recycled cardboard and wrapped in kraft paper with raffia ribbon. 

The box pictured is the one you would receive. Please allow for small variations in sizing as the quoted measurements are what we work to. Minor differences can occur as each box is unique and hand finished to bring out the best in the timber.
