Description
Knitting Project Bag - Large- Pears - 100% cotton fabric
These project bags are great for knitting, crochet or any handcrafts.
The Large sized bag is suitable for sections of a larger project like a jumper – this size can comfortably fit around 8 x 50 gram balls of wool.
Each bag has a square flat bottom and is fully lined with light fabric so you can clearly see inside the bag and find what you need. Each bag has 5 internal pockets of light bright coloured contrasting fabric –which are great for holding all your knitting and sewing needs and notions - like stitch holders, row markers, needle stoppers, pins, sewing needles, measuring tapes and smaller pockets for spare knitting needles.
Each bag has a handle and is closed with a double cotton cord draw string to keep all your knitty bits and pieces safe and clean.
A keyring is attached inside each bag so you can clip a small pair of scissors or other knitting notions you like.
The exterior of each bag is decorated with a range of charms and or brightly coloured tassels – for a bit of fun – some of these can be used as row markers.
Completely handmade from quality contrasting fabrics, these bags hold their shape allowing you to knit straight from the bag without removing your wool. These bags are individually made so they are all individual, unique and limited editions. They are fully hand washable in cool water and make great gifts for the knitters or crafters in your life.

I may use use polycotton fabrics for the linings and pockets.
I use strong polycotton threads to sew these bags. Cotton header tape or grosgrain ribbon for the internal keyring attachment, small suede cord for attaching external charms, and recycled cotton macramé cord or rope for ties.
I occasionally use remnants and roll ends that may eventually have ended up in landfill.
I particularly love using Australian designer fabrics and also vintage fabrics – matching colours and patterns to create unique one-off creations.
