Save the Koala Month runs annually in September and is organized by the Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) along with other wildlife organizations across Australia. The month is dedicated to celebrating koalas, highlighting the threats they face—such as habitat loss, climate change, and disease—and encouraging individuals, schools, workplaces, and community groups to take action to protect them.
