Meet Lily Sparkle, a one-of-a-kind Handmade Wonky Goblin, Burlesque Dancer (retired) from Circus Goblinski. This enchanting figure is entirely black and white themed, showcasing her unique charm. Adorned with ribbons and laces, Lily boasts a stunning zebra striped top hat featuring a captivating black feather and a large sparkly bauble. Lily Sparkle - Burlesque Dancer (retired), started her dance career on the stage of the Goblinski Circus at a young age. Although she is getting a little "chubby" in her later years, the thrill of a captive audience is something she will fondly remember, always. Once the lights went down, and a hush washed over the crowd, Lily would appear in the spotlight ready for her rendition of "Lily of the Lamplight".
She spends her evenings now, reminiscing the old days, re-reading her reviews from the Goblinski Herald from yester-year. Lily is content.
............... It was my intention to create a doll that was slightly "not perfect", but still with a quirkiness and a cuteness to it. With this in mind, I squirrelled myself away in my Sewing Nook (aka - the Spare Room with a Sewing Machine), and drafted out a pattern or two, until I was reasonably happy with the shape. The fun part, as with all of my works, is the embellishments - to me this is when my creatures come to life, and in a manner of speaking, this is the time that they start to tell me who they are and how they want to be dressed.
All of my Goblins are from the Goblinski Family Tree - some from far back in time, some from nowadays, and a few from the future.
