A little more than your everyday Tote Bag, this one has had a bit of an upgrade.
This bag has a patchwork style fabric in pinks, reds and soft greens, the outside has been quilted and interfaced to give the bag extra structure and make it nice and sturdy.
And then we get to the inside, because we all need more storage space,
Inside you will find a large divided pocket on one side, perfect for keeping those everyday bits and pieces from disappearing into the bottom of your bag, and a zippered pocket on the other side for the things you want to keep a little more secure.
The handles are also handmade by me, and the bag is fully lined.
Like everything in my Creative Chook sewing room, this bag has been made by me from start to finish — cutting, quilting, pockets, handles and construction one piece and one stitch at a time.
No mass production happening here, just me, my sewing machine and probably a cup of coffee somewhere nearby.
A lovely sturdy bag for shopping, everyday outings, craft supplies or simply carrying all those things we somehow seem to need when we leave the house.
And because it is handmade, there won't be another one exactly the same.
