I've used 5mm braided cotton cord (made in Australia using reclaimed cotton) in a deep blue called Ink to crochet this basket. It measures 22cm across and is 8.5 cm tall - a great size. The handles are leather and are attached with chicago screws finished in an antique brass look, and yes you can detach the handles if you want to change it up a bit.

Your basket will come packaged using earth friendly materials to help ensure protection during transit and with a care card to help you look after it once you have it in your home. Your basket is washable (as per care card instructions), you will need to remove the handles first and it will need a little reshaping whilst it is drying.
