Turned on the lathe from rare gidgee, this traditionally styled dip pen (also known as a nib holder) includes a monogrammed solid brass core to give it perfect balance.
As a wood that grows only in harsh outback regions, Gidgee develops an incredible strength, but also a beautiful chatoyance that can be seen in the included video.
A joy to use or just to admire, this pen is suitable for drawing, writing, calligraphy or as a perfect gift for the serious collector.
The pen comes with an original vintage Hinks, Wells & Co. "Astor" stainless steel nib. It has a 6mm bore and 5mm core that allows it to accept most standard-sized nibs.
