Making a beanie is a great introduction to working with and alternating colours if you are beginner knitter.

This beanie is knitted in the round on a short circular needle or a set of 4 double ended needles. Knitting in the round eliminates the need to seam your work together. Once you have finished knitting and the final row is pulled together and fastened - all you need to do is make the pompom and attach.

This beanie is knitted using 8py or DK yarn weight on 3.25mm 40 cm circular needles or set of 3.25mm double pointed needles.

Pattern is suitable for sizes: 3 - 6 months, 6-12 months & 12 - 18 months.

Yarn Requirements: MC = 1 x 50g skein, CC1 = 1x 50g skein, CC2 (black) = 25 mts scrap of yarn.
