Handcrafted from copper sheet and sterling silver wire, each leaf has been cut, folded, hammered and shaped to resemble fallen leaves of eucalyptus. The leaves have a range of colours achieved by combining oxidation, heat patina and blue patina to achieve that authentic aged, mouldy look. The delicate patina has been sealed with a specially formulated sealant for metals for longevity. The earrings come long handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.
The best thing? No two leaves are exactly the same - just like in the natural world.

Materials:
Copper, sterling silver, patina, lacquer
Size:
Variants 1, 3 and 4 have been formed from the same sized shape. As each leaf is individually shaped they are not identical but the sizes are similar. The size of variant 1 is total length 6.5 cm, leaves themselves cca 5 cm long and 2 cm wide.
Variant 2 is smaller, total length cca 6 cm, leaves are 4.5 cm long and 1.3 cm wide.
What you will love:
Each pair, and indeed each leaf, is unique, both in shape, texture and colour.
They can be dressed up or down - wear them with an elegant dress for a night out, or pair them with a linen shirt for a relaxed afternoon on the beach or let your inner spirit shine through when wearing them to the office.
Care:
The sterling silver may darken a bit over time, depending on environmental factors such as humidity etc. They can be easily refreshed with a jewellery polishing cloth.
The copper leaves have two protective layers of sealant that is hardy and durable, but not indestructible. They can be cleaned with a very gentle soapy water, rinse and dry. Avoid any solvents, including 'orange' and 'citrus' cleaners. Prolonged contact with cosmetic products is best avoided. Do not wear the earrings whilst swimming, bathing, showering, hard exercise and sleeping. Apply cosmetic products and perfumes BEFORE putting jewellery on to prevent staining.
