Botanical Contact Printing/Eco-Printing process
Eucalyptus leaves are layered on natural fibre fabric and rolled up tightly into a bundle and steamed for up to 2 hours. The pigments and tannins in the leaves interact with the metal agents of iron and aluminium to leave their prints on the fabric.
Care Instructions
Light iron on cotton setting.
Can be spot cleaned or gently washed by hand with mild/pH neutral soap if necessary.
Please note: I have endeavoured to capture the actual colours as best I could, however there may be a slight variation in colour. Colours include a slightly orangish beige background with browns, greys, blacks and oranges in the leaf prints themselves.
