My aluminium pieces are etched using a solution of copper sulphate, salt, and water. This mixture gently reacts with the surface of the metal, eating away the areas that are left unprotected and creating fine lines, textures, or recessed surfaces.

Unlike harsher industrial chemicals, this method is environmentally friendly and allows me to work in a more sustainable and responsible way. The process not only creates intricate detail but also aligns with my commitment to mindful, low-impact jewellery making.
