Dragonfly Needlebook in Boro Style

Slow stitched boro style panel featuring Japanese Kimono fabrics and quality quilting fabric.  The panel has a lovely soft texture from the overall hand stitching and folds into three enclosing your small stitching items.

Featuring a dragonfly on cover and the two internal pockets – a handy size to store needle packets and embroidery threads.  Two wool panels in the centre for pins and needles with a ribbon tie closure - so the book can expand as you add more to the pockets.

Dimensions; Three folds when closed 8.5 x 12.5 cm.  When the needlebook is open it measures 24.5 x 12.5 cm

Materials – Japanese cottons, quilting fabrics and kimono fabrics.  Cotton thread for hand stitching.

Care -   The style is that of traditional boro patching and so the fabric pieces are raw edge and will fray a little over time adding to the vintage nature of the item.  Spot clean if needed.
