This little sweetie is a classic baby sun suit for boys and girls; it makes an ideal handmade gift for baby shower or first birthday. The romper is completely reversible so fabric is required for both faces; no need for facings. It features a bib pocket, elastic back waist and leg openings, cross-over button-on straps and has a crotch opening with snap fasteners. The leg openings have bias binding edging which is used to form the elastic casings. Bias pattern and instructions are included. Two buttonholes are required for the bib buttons or snaps can be used. 
SIZES: 000, 00, 0, 1, 18m, 2, 3 to fit babies from 3+ months to 3 years. Always check the size chart first; Waist and Height measurements are the best guide for selecting the correct size for your child.

FABRIC: Light weight cottons are best e.g. poplin, lawn, seersucker and homespun. If you prefer to use a lining rather than a reversible face then choose plain cotton voile for this. See photos for fabric chart.
EXPERIENCE: suitable for a beginner with basic sewing experience. Follow the tutorial for best results.
