Original Eclipse bag in clutch style, featuring Victorian native fringed daisy bush, olearia ciliata
This clutch style bag can be an everyday handbag, or kept as an occasional statement piece. The strap is adjustable in length and removable if you prefer a handheld bag. The floral front panel has been cut and tooled by hand, a process that takes several hours and multiple stages to complete, then dyed using a custom mix to reflect the green of the daisy's ferny foliage. This design was inspired by the nostalgia of making daisy chains as a kid, I chose these flowers as they are a native version growing in my garden in Coburg North, Victoria. This clutch has the most recent closure version, a redesigned top gusset with zipper to ensure your belongings are safe and stay securely in the bag.

Care:
Please note that marks may appear over time, due to usual use of the bag, however it is recommended to store the bag in the fabric dust cover when not in use. It is the view of the artist that the bag holds the marks of time and use; each caress creating and adding to the patina of touch and love.
Like all leather items, if scratched, the surface may discolour and the UV/showerproof coating may be compromised and excessive exposure to water may show marks. It is recommended to reapply a coat of finisher yearly or when scratches appear to protect the integrity of the leather and artwork, alternatively a light coat of dubbin can be used (however water protection cannot be guaranteed in this case), please contact Falter for further information.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and damp or humid conditions. This bag comes with a lifetime guarantee and will be repaired at no cost to the owner, provided the repairs are a result of usual wear and use.
