If you need to carry the essentials, but don’t want to feel that you’re carrying something, this sling is a good choice.
Unlike a typical crossbody bag where the bag itself hangs at your side, a crossbody sling is designed to hold the bag higher and against your body. It can be worn with the bag across your chest or across your back. The design is slim and compact and can be worn comfortably under a jacket for added security.
The front of the bag has a slip pocket and a zippered pocket, both the full width of the bag and extending to the base of the bag. On the back, it has a vertical zippered pocket which is the full width of the bag and extends to the base of the bag. It has quality hardware and webbing, adding to the strength of the bag and is made from stonewashed cotton canvas with cotton linings. The stonewashed canvas gives the bag a soft weathered look. An extra D-ring at the bottom of the bag allows it to be slung across either the left or the right side of the body. I am right handed, and find it suits me to have it slung across my right shoulder with the bag at the front. There is also a D-ring at the top of the bag for hanging when not in use.
The back zippered pocket would be ideal for a passport when travelling, while the front pockets are handy for keys and a phone. A small drink can or water bottle fits in the slip pocket however that would then limit the space for other things as it changes the shape of the other pockets.
This bag is a very popular style for walking and travelling, as it keeps your possessions close to your body, and it's a great uni-sex design.
