Description
Crocheted kookaburra
This Australian native bird has been carefully crocheted in acrylic yarn, filled with polyester fill and hanging from a bamboo ring on fishing nylon.
It would look lovely hanging in a sunroom or a child’s room or nursery and moves easily in the slightest breeze.
It measures approx. 13cm from tip of tail to beak.
The kookaburra is sitting on a real wooden perch adorned with gum leaves and gumnuts.
You can choose white or teal flecks on the bird's wings.
This bird has been created from my own pattern design.
These birds are brilliant in a nursery hanging near cot or change table as they move in the slightest breeze and catch baby's attention. Excellent for a distraction from crying.
Safety eyes
This item has been made with “safety eyes”. These are plastic eyes that are locked onto the face with a backing plate so they cannot be removed.
However, they are not recommended for under three year olds or should not be left with an unsupervised child or in a child’s cot.
Cleaning
Dust can be gently removed by using a clean, soft brush such as a paint brush
It can be hand washed if necessary
