This fine art print features my hand-drawn pencil illustration of a Masked Lapwing (also called a plover) dressed up as a cricket player. This artwork is part of my series titled 'Wild Workers' which features ironic and funny illustrations of birds in outfits.
I'm an avid bird nerd and love bringing my love of birds to life with vibrant colours and detailed pencil work!
Each fine art print is printed in my home studio in the Illawarra on heavyweight 310gsm linen paper. This paper adds a gorgeous texture to the artwork that makes it look like an original!
There are two sizes available:
A4 (21cm x 29.7cm)
A3 (29.7cm x 42cm)
All art prints come signed by the artist and are mailed flat in sturdy packaging.

Meet Corey the Cricketer Plover.
Fondly nicknamed by his teammates as "The Swooper," Corey is a notoriously fierce player in the local cricket scene. Off the field, he's a true-blue Aussie who loves nothing more than some good banter and a laugh, but on the field, Corey has quite the reputation. He's not afraid to aggressively defend his "home pitch"—just ask any unfortunate soul who's dared to challenge him. His reckless behaviour has caused some beef with his teammates, but overall, his competitiveness and loyalty to his sport make him such a valuable team member that no one would dare give him the boot.
When he's not playing cricket, Corey’s all about soaking up some sun and spending time with his family. On the weekends, you'll find him patrolling the local park with his missus, kids, and a few good mates. Corey may have a fearsome reputation, but deep down, he's just a bloke who loves a good game, a cold drink, and keeping his territory safe—whether it’s a cricket field or his backyard.
