This is my version. And I call it "The Happy 9-Patch" because that is exactly how it feels to look at it.
The Story Behind This Quilt
I made this quilt from my fabric stash — a mix of colourful prints, warm cottons, and happy scraps. There are pinks, blues, yellows, greens, and terracottas. There are florals, dots, stripes, and surprises.
Some of these fabrics came from past projects. Some were gifted. Some were leftovers from quilts I made for friends. They all found a home here, stitched together into something cheerful and new .
This quilt is not perfect. The seams do not all line up. The blocks have character. But that is exactly what makes it beautiful. It was made by human hands, not a factory.
