Drop Earrings Coin Button Pearl and Gold

These classic earrings are handmade from freshwater coin or button pearls. Each pearl is unique.  The ear wires and headpins are gold filled.

•        The earrings measure 3.5 cm (1 3/8") from the top of the ear wire.

•        The pearls measure 1.1 - 1.2 cm. (3/8")

Gold filled is ear wires and components are not actually gold filled but is coated in a layer of gold. Gold-filled pieces are composed of solid layers of gold (typically constituting at least 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base metal, in this case brass. This layer is much thicker than gold plating, resulting in a durable, long-lasting product that looks has the appearance solid gold. Under normal wearing conditions and with proper care, your gold-filled jewellery should last at 10 to 30 years. Gold-Filled jewellery can also be worn by people with sensitive skin.
