Description
'Christmas Manor' is an original mixed media collage piece.
The image is made from a double page house feature in a magazine, the walls are cut out leaving only the structural bones, and then fabric is placed behind the cut out and glued down. The garden is then built-up using images from various gardens in magazines to complete the collage.
Please note due to the original nature of this work, it is imperfect. There is a clear seam where the double page spread joins down the middle, the paper is not perfectly flat, especially where the fabric is glued under the house. However, I believe these imperfections add to the charm and originality of this piece. As this is made directly from a magazine, it is also a one-off piece.
I am selling this piece unframed and without the matt.
The paper size of this piece is 47cm x 34cm. The image is large than A3 on all sides, and I have left plenty of room around the edge for affixing to a matt (see 2nd pic).
I have shown this piece framed up in an A2 (62cm x 45cm) white frame from Kmart so you can see what it looks like in a budget frame (see 1st pic).
The matt in the A2 frame has an A3 picture opening (41cm x 29cm).

POSTAGE:
I post original artwork in sealable clear plastic envelopes to keep the artwork clean and dry, and inside rigid cardboard mailers with extra backing board inside to increase rigidity.
I use Sendle couriers exclusively.
