Fun Christmas Advent Calendar Bunting

Colour: Various coloured pockets with white backing pockets and white bias binding tape

Details: Pocket design rectangle bunting with 24 flags. 24 countdown flags numbered 24 to 1. Each flag is approx 10cm wide and 13cm tall and each individual pocket is approx 10cm wide and 8cm tall. The bias tape has approx 20cm tying tape at each end.

Size: 3.8meters long - approx

Each bunting set is handmade and cut, this includes the bias tape, the placement of the fabric cut and placement of the countdown numbers. As each bunting set is made individually, variations will appear in each set.

How to use the Advent Bunting: Each day someone picks the note or item from the countdown pocket.

Note: get your aprons out, it’s gingerbread baking day!

Item: Chocolate Santa or Reindeer

Note: get your shoes on, we are going on a neighbourhood Christmas lights walk!

Item: Christmas scrunches, hair elastics or earrings

Note: Glitter and Stickers, having fun writing class friends Christmas cards and decorating with glitter and stickers

Item: matchbox cars, small dolls or dinosaurs..

You can have so much fun with this and adapt it to your children’s ages and abilities. These are just a few ideas. Your local $2 shop will have lots or small craft kits, activities or colouring books as well.

Care: If needed, hand wash or place in wash bag and machine wash on delicates cycle. Light iron press on reverse side (the back) when dry. (If you iron the front, you will melt the numbers).
