Making this snowman was definitely a labour of love.

Lots of fiddly work in creating the features of the snowman and then also knitting the tiny hat (using 100% hand-died wool)

This is the reason I have only made a few of these. I did have great fun making them though - as it reminded me as a child making real snowmen in my parent's Danish winter garden.

Crafted from speckled Australian clay and finished with non-toxic glazes, each snowman carries warmth and lots of individual character. You might find subtle imperfections and natural marks; these are kept as they are part of the handmade process. A celebrated sign of authenticity and care.
