This African Violet Pot is perfect for window sills, it is oblong in shape so it sits on the window sill easier.

This African Violet pot has been made by me from start to end.

First I make the pot with a mold and slip. Then it is hand cleaned to remove seam lines and to fit the top into the bottom of the pot.

This pot is placed in a kiln for 11 hrs. After the first firing I will glaze and its returned back to the kiln for a 8 hr firing cycle.

The pot comes in two parts.

The total height of the pot is approximately 10 cm.

It's length is approximately 14cm.

Its width is approximately 9.5cm.

The inset has a unglazed section which is porous and this is how the plant is watered.
